Preparation Instructions Best by Date: On package. Cooking Instructions: 1. Cut thawed fish fillets into 3/4 inch thick strips. Chill in ice water for 5 minutes. Shake off excess water. 2. Place H?E?B Lemon Seasoned Fish Fry Mix in a small bowl or plastic bag. Roll fish in mix until well coated. 3. Using an electric fryer or skillet, heat oil to 375 degrees F. (Use medium heat for stovetop skillet.) Fry 5 to 6 pieces for 3 to 4 minutes or until golden brown. One package coats approximately 5 to 6 pounds of fish.
